Thumping  bass drums, crashing cymbals,  roaring loud speakers and yelling saxophones , and what not in the name of religion and festivities? Now festivities bring not only joy and colours to our life, but also head aches, which are unavoidable part of the new era festival package. Every night in this festive season I was woken up from my blissful sleep either by a cracker, a drummer or a loud speaker. Its sad that I am hunting in the calendar when the festive season would end.

I think the sprawling versions of Djs do not have any aesthetics when it comes to playing music. Rather than a foot tapping number, all they create is a pandemonium. And when a fed up senior citizen asks the youngsters to stop making such a hullabaloo, all they do is whistling more to disrespect him and let him know that youngsters rule.

Can you ever imagine Ganapati Bappa or Maa Durga dancing to the tunes of Munni Badnaam Huyi.... Its indeed ironical to see how we reduce the idols from 'ideals' to speechless creatures. What do you call this? Shraddha or ???? The public and government gotta decide. There should be some regulation in place to control these chaos
